Sound Credit Union donated $5,000 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Snohomish County after a season-long pledge tied to Everett AquaSox home runs.
The credit union promised $50 for every home run an AquaSox player hit at Everett Memorial Stadium during the 2026 season. That works out to 100 home runs over the summer.
Sound Credit Union announced the donation on Instagram on Oct. 13, thanking the AquaSox for an ongoing partnership and saying the two organizations came together to support the Boys & Girls Clubs.
The AquaSox, the Seattle Mariners' High-A affiliate, promoted the campaign on Facebook in July when the team had already slugged 66 home runs at home. The remaining 34 came over the final stretch of the Northwest League season.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Snohomish County has operated for 80 years, serving more than 29,000 children and teens across the region, according to the Port of Everett.
The AquaSox posted about the completed campaign on Oct. 17, with the team and mascot Webbly calling it a community effort they were proud to support.
