Kids in costume will trick-or-treat boat to boat along the Port of Everett marina Friday afternoon as Haunted Harbor returns for its third year at Waterfront Place.

The free Halloween event runs from 4 to 7 p.m. Oct. 23 at Pacific Rim Plaza, near Hotel Indigo, according to a Port of Everett press release. The event goes on rain or shine. Last year's Haunted Harbor drew more than 1,700 people, the Port said.

Two new additions headline the 2026 lineup: a Zombie Walk and a live performance stage. Full event details are available at the Port's Haunted Harbor page.

Troll or Treat, 4–6 p.m.

Children can walk the docks at Guest Dock 5 in their Halloween costumes, collecting candy from boaters. Waterfront businesses and community partners will also have booths along the esplanade with treats and activities. Candy bags are available while supplies last. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult, and Everett Sail & Power Squadron will offer free lifejacket fittings on the dock.

Zombie Walk, 6–7 p.m. (new)

The 1.5-mile walk, organized with Run 2 Be Fit, starts at Port Gardner Landing. Participants are asked to bring nonperishable food donations for the Mariner High School Food Pantry.

Witches Paddle, 4–5:30 p.m.

Paddleboarders and kayakers in witch and warlock costumes will cruise through the marina. Anyone who wants to join can email [email protected].

Mystical Mainstage at Pacific Rim Plaza (new)

Live performances begin at 4 p.m. with "Scary Stories for Brave Listeners" from Everett Public Library. The Seattle Thrillers take the stage at 5 p.m., followed by Santana Charro Bros. Mexican Folklore Youth Dance at 6 p.m.

Float Find and more

Schack Art Center is running a Halloween edition of its Float Find scavenger hunt. Visitors who spot a plastic clue ball with an octopus picture hidden around Pacific Rim Plaza, the marina esplanade or Port Gardner Wharf can trade it at the Schack booth for a handmade orange glass float. Schack will also have free kids' activities and blown glass pumpkins for sale.

LAZ Parking is hosting a free pumpkin patch, and IJ Photo will run a free photo booth on the activity barge at the end of Guest Dock 5.
