The Everett AquaSox are turning Funko Field into a tropical paradise on Saturday, Aug. 15, with Margaritaville Night honoring the late Jimmy Buffett's music and island-life culture.

The first 1,000 fans through the gates will score a free Hawaiian shirt, courtesy of sponsor IBEW/NECA. A Trop-Rock band will perform on Jersey St. before the game, setting the mood before the AquaSox take on Spokane.

The team announced the event on X beginning July 31, calling it a tropical takeover and urging Parrotheads to come out in force. The night will honor Buffett's music and celebrate island life, the team said, with the themed jerseys as the centerpiece.

The Parrot Heads of Puget Sound, described as the Northwest's largest Parrot Head club, has already listed the game as an upcoming special event on its calendar. The club serves fans across Seattle, Tacoma, and the greater Puget Sound area, so expect a crowd beyond Everett's usual faithful.

Margaritaville Night is the latest in a string of themed promotions at the ballpark this summer. The AquaSox, the High-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners, hosted a Christmas in July game on July 18 with Santa hats and fireworks, and a free Frogstock family night on July 16.
