The Everett AquaSox, the Seattle Mariners' High-A affiliate, are packing holiday spirit into one midsummer Saturday when they host the Eugene Emeralds for their annual Christmas in July game on July 25 at Everett Memorial Stadium.

The first 1,000 fans through the gates will take home a free AquaSox Santa hat, sponsored by Diedrich Espresso.

Players will take the field in special Christmas in July jerseys. Fans can bid on those game-worn jerseys through an online auction running July 23 through July 27, so you don't have to be at the ballpark to snag one.

Toy drive benefits Snohomish County families

The AquaSox are partnering with Christmas House for a toy drive at the game. Fans are asked to bring new, unwrapped toys to donation bins at the stadium entrances. Monetary donations will also be accepted.

Christmas House, a 100% volunteer nonprofit based in Everett, provides free holiday gifts to qualifying low-income Snohomish County parents for children from infants through age 18.

According to the organization's website, Christmas House distributed approximately 38,000 gifts to 7,161 children from 2,532 homes across the county during the 2025 holiday season.

The AquaSox said the collected toys will go to Snohomish County families when the holidays roll around.

Holiday music and fireworks

The evening also features holiday music throughout the game and a post-game fireworks show.

The team called on fans to "join the Frogs for a cheerful evening of baseball and holiday music" in a July 17 post on X announcing the promotion.

Diedrich Espresso, the Everett-based coffee chain that serves as the official baristas at both the stadium and Angel of the Winds Arena, is sponsoring the Santa hat giveaway. The company operates four locations across Everett.

Game time for July 25 has not been announced.
