Three Everett AquaSox players collected official monthly awards on Wednesday, Aug. 5, giving the defending Northwest League champions a rare triple haul of individual honors for July 2026.
Catcher Luke Stevenson earned MiLB's Northwest League Player of the Month. Reliever Reid Easterly and outfielder Korbyn Dickerson took home Seattle Mariners minor league awards for Reliever of the Month and Baserunner of the Month, respectively, announced by Mariners Director of Player Development Justin Toole. Everett was the only Mariners affiliate to produce multiple organizational award winners, while Stevenson separately earned the league-level honor from MiLB.
Stevenson dominated at the plate
Stevenson, 22, led the Northwest League in home runs (eight), doubles (eight), RBIs (26), total bases (58), slugging percentage (.753) and OPS (1.186) during July while batting .338. The former University of North Carolina standout, drafted 35th overall in 2025, posted hitting streaks of nine and seven games and recorded eight multi-hit performances.
His signature moment came July 28, when he blasted two home runs to power Everett past the Hillsboro Hops 3-2 at Hops Ballpark. Through 79 games this season, Stevenson owns a league-best .413 on-base percentage with 15 home runs and 70 RBIs.
Easterly nearly untouchable from the bullpen
Easterly, a 24-year-old left-hander from Katy, Texas, allowed just one earned run in 15.2 innings across seven July relief appearances. His 0.57 ERA ranked second-lowest in High-A. He walked one batter all month while striking out 14, good for a 14.0 K/BB ratio that ranked second in High-A and eighth across all of MiLB.
The Yale and Duke product signed with Seattle as an undrafted free agent in July 2025 and made his professional debut with Class-A Modesto before earning a promotion to Everett for 2026. On the season, Easterly holds a 5-1 record with a 2.86 ERA and 58 strikeouts in 50.1 innings.
Dickerson ran wild after promotion
Dickerson, 22, was promoted from Class-A Inland Empire to Everett on July 20 and immediately put his speed on display. He went a perfect 6-for-6 in stolen base attempts with the AquaSox, tied for second-most steals in the Northwest League over that 11-day stretch. Including his time with Inland Empire, he finished July 9-for-11 on the basepaths.
The fifth-round pick out of Indiana University (152nd overall, 2025 draft) is batting .275 with 11 home runs and 27 stolen bases across 88 games between the two affiliates this season.
What's next
The awards dropped the same night Everett hosted the Vancouver Canadians at Everett Memorial Stadium. As of July 31, the AquaSox were tied for first in the Northwest League's second-half standings at 15-9, locked in a three-way race with Eugene and Spokane.
