Everett's downtown venues are stacking up live music, film and comedy through November, giving residents a reason to get out nearly every week of the month.

The run starts Nov. 5 at APEX Art & Culture Center, 1611 Everett Ave., where the El Sid Concert Series hosts Stomping Ground at 6:30 p.m. The band blends blues, soul, classic rock and pop, according to The Daily Herald's arts calendar.

The next night, Nov. 6 at 7:30 p.m., APEX's Kings Hall stage features Like a Version, a Madonna tribute act, alongside Jealous Dogs, a Pretenders tribute, according to the APEX event listing.

The action then shifts to the Historic Everett Theatre at 2911 Colby Ave. On Nov. 14 at 8 p.m., Eagle Eyes, a Vancouver, B.C.-based Eagles tribute band, shares the bill with Classic Ronstadt, a Linda Ronstadt tribute led by vocalist D.L. Car, according to the theatre's event page.

A handcrafted instrument takes center stage

On Nov. 15 at 3 p.m., the Port Gardner Bay Music Society presents Ukrainian bandura artist Valentin Lysenko at Everett First Presbyterian Church, 2936 Rockefeller Ave.

Lysenko performs on an electro-acoustic harp-bandura he designed and built himself, according to the society's website.

He spent three years building several versions of the instrument to expand its range of sound and styles.

The concert is the society's second of its 2026–27 season. Admission is by suggested donation: $20 general, $15 for seniors 65 and older or military, and $5 for students 14 and older. Lee Mathews, the society's president, can be reached at (425) 327-3775 for more information.

Ski film, grunge and comedy round out the month

Host Katie Burrell leads the film on a globe-spanning trip through Alaska, Japan, Deer Valley and the Canadian Rockies, according to the Warren Miller event page.

Advance general admission tickets start at $27.48 plus fees through Humanitix. A portion of net ticket proceeds goes to the Share Winter Foundation to expand youth access to winter sports.

The monthly Everett Art Walk returns Nov. 19 from 5 to 9 p.m. at multiple downtown locations, according to Visit Everett.

On Nov. 20 at 8 p.m., the Historic Everett Theatre hosts The Grunge Show, featuring tribute acts covering Alice in Chains, Soundgarden and Nirvana catalogs.
