Anyone walking the Port of Everett's Waterfront Place or riding the ferry to Jetty Island this Friday can stumble onto a hand-blown glass float tucked behind a driftwood log or nestled near a bench.
Float Find, the free summer scavenger hunt run by the Port of Everett and the Schack Art Center, returns for its 2026 season with 200 one-of-a-kind glass floats hidden across eight consecutive Fridays through Friday, August 28.
Each week, local artists blow 25 unique floats. Five get stashed shoreside at Waterfront Place, the 65-acre waterfront district along the marina. The other 20 go beachside on Jetty Island. Find one, keep it.
The Port confirmed the schedule in a July 6 press release. No registration or entry fee is required.
Participants can check the Port of Everett's dedicated Float Find FAQ page and Clue Drops page at portofeverett.com for weekly hints on where floats are hidden.
