South Everett residents will have a chance to meet local deputies, connect with neighbors and learn more about crime prevention during a free National Night Out gathering Tuesday, Aug. 4, at Mariner High School.
The event runs from 5 to 8 p.m. at 200 120th St. SW and is the only Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office-hosted National Night Out event inside Everett city limits. No registration is required.
National Night Out is a nationwide community-policing event held each August that encourages residents and law enforcement to build stronger relationships.
The Sheriff's Office is hosting six gatherings across Snohomish County that evening, including events in Snohomish, Granite Falls, Sultan, Stanwood and Gold Bar.
The Mariner High School event is separate from neighborhood block parties organized by residents. Those community-hosted events require their own registration through the Sheriff’s Office.
The department has not released specific activity details or parking information for the Mariner event. More information is available at snohomishcountywa.gov.
